First Baptist Church is made up of ordinary people who serve an extraordinary God. We'd love to help you use your God-given gifts and talents to lift Jesus up within our church and share His love in the community. This could be through one of our local ministries, the worship team, working in the sound booth, teaching Sunday school for kids and teens, set up/take down for events, or even a new ministry that you'd like to start up!   • convalescent ministry

    Convalescent Ministry is a fantastic way to share God’s love. We have one-on-one interaction with residents in local nursing homes. Every visit is different. Sometimes we offer manicures, put together arts and crafts, and sometimes we just visit with them. Fred brings his violin and we go room to room and sing, we dance, or sit in on an activity. We hand out homemade cards and knickknacks every time we visit. For Christmas, we take gifts and sing carols from room to room.   • sound booth

    Do you enjoy mixing sound? Are you interested in learning? We would love for you to join our sound booth team. We'll teach you how to run the sound board, blending what's on stage and making our online presence crystal clear. We also need help manning the cameras and running the slides on Sunday morning.   • worship team

    The Worship Team at First Baptist Church provides music on Sunday mornings during our worship service. We practice once a week on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in auditioning for the worship team as a musician, singer, or both, please fill out the Worship Team Application HERE.

  • VIP ministry | Sunday greeters

    There's nothing better than a smile and a cheerful greeting when you arrive at church on a Sunday morning. Are you outgoing and enjoy making people feel welcome as they enter God's house? If so, we'd love to have you be a part of our VIP Ministry! As our church continues to grow and restrictions are lifted, we need people like YOU to greet visitors and members as they attend FBC.
